Annual Glamping Retreat 2026
OVERVIEW
The Chrysalis Program Annual Glamping Retreat is back this year at Camp Sullivan. The primary aim of the retreat is for students to forge connections with fellow program members and with nature.
On Friday evening, students will arrive between 4:30 pm and 5 pm. Once settled, they'll indulge in manicures, pedicures, and facials provided by black-owned cosmetology businesses setting up in our bunkhouse. Dinner will follow, accompanied by campfire snacks and storytelling.
Saturday kicks off with breakfast, followed by a hiking excursion and participation in various social-emotional and life skills workshops. A crafting session precedes an afternoon of rock climbing. After dinner, we'll gather for a lively campfire last-night party.
Sunday morning, we'll engage in a reflective discussion about our retreat experiences, distributing giveaways before parents pick up by 11 am.
